Discus Systems is a long-standing UK partner of Heimdal Security. We use Heimdal as part of our overall cyber security service rather than as a standalone product.

Cyber security works best when it’s built in layers — not relying on a single tool to do everything. Each layer covers a different risk, so if something gets past one layer, another is there to stop it.

Our Cyber Security 7 package is built around seven key areas:

1. Prevention & detection+ – stopping malware and suspicious activity on computers and servers (this is where Heimdal fits)

2. Email security+ – reducing phishing, spam, and malicious emails

3. Domain protection – preventing email spoofing and domain abuse

4. Security monitoring – visibility over Microsoft 365 activity and alerts

5. Backup – making sure data can be recovered if something goes wrong

6. Password management – helping users create and use secure passwords
7. User training – helping staff recognise and avoid cyber threats

Our job is to make sure these layers work together, are set up properly, and are supported day-to-day by a UK-based team.

If you already have some security in place, we simply focus on the areas that improve your protection rather than replacing things unnecessarily.
